Headup was created by its CEO, Tal Keinan of a TelAviv based company SemantiNet. Tal got $3.4 million in September from Series A funding. The company is an eraly adopter of numerous services. It uses Microsoft’s Silverlight technology. It provides you with two types of informations. Whats going on inside major social networks and what people think of those networks. The apllication is not a search engine as others might think, its more of an inference engine that compiles relevant connections with the topics in your social network.
