The amazing iPhone has continued to amaze and disappoint people the world over, and now in it’s third generation, people, who are creatures of never-ending curiosity have learned more about its abilities
that those who have been briefed to sell them out of the box in the many Apple Stores. People have a knack of learning more than they should about innovative products, like the hidden WiFi transmitter chip within it that wouldn’t have been known if some crazy gadget lover hadn’t taken apart their newly store bought iPod.
Most third party apps that work on the famed iPhone come packaged in a Safari package that tends to make them look gaudy and down-right ugly. Apple has issued update after update to the firmware, software and OS of their product and among their updates to nobody’s surprise are hidden features like the ability to take away the gaudy Safari wrapper making the apps run in full screen mode as if they
were native to the iPhone.
The release of the iPhone SDK might have a thing or two to do about the never-ending phenomenon that is the iPhone which has inspired the tinkerer in all of us. May they be with hidden apps, or Apple
developers who want to give out more than the company does, who knows. The iPhone is now in it’s third generation and with a cheaper price, not all seems good for initial reviews are good for the newer
version for it is afterall just a re-designed one with all the same features as the second generation that cannot be attained with the necessary updates.
